Tell us a little bit about yourself
I am Dr. Neha Mishra, an advanced physiotherapy rehabilitator trained in the UK. I am a certified Nutritionist, cupping, taping, and Intraarticular injection therapist and founder of Just Heal physiotherapy and wellness center, Mumbai.
Tell us about your journey as an entrepreneur
My journey from a therapist to an entrepreneur has been a roller coaster ride, the ideology of having a stable career changed completely into healing and patient satisfaction.
How did you come up with the name for your business/startup?
My main aim was to help people reduce their pain, and in order to do so one should be physically and emotionally strong to eliminate pain, hence the name JUST HEAL PHYSIOTHERAPY AND WELLNESS CENTER where we take care of the overall well being of our patients.
What was the impact of this lockdown on your entrepreneurial life?
I used to believe that working in a hospital environment, following the protocol will fetch me money and stable life. However, this lockdown changed my perception towards my career completely. Belonging from a middle-class family the ideal way to start my career was to work in a hospital environment and have a stable income but everything doesn’t go as planned.
What difficulties which you have faced or you are facing?
I had just flown back from the United Kingdom for personal reasons, in the interim my VISA got expired and due to COVID Pandemic, it was difficult to get my visa extended. This felt like my biggest setback as it was the start of my career, all my options were getting blocked. The first few months gave me a lot of frustration, due to family reasons I couldn’t take opportunities to work as a front liner as well, which made me doubt my capabilities.
How many hours a day do you work on average & can your describe your typical day?
My working hours depend upon my patient’s requirements. However, my official timing is from 9 am-7:30 pm that involves my clinics as well as home visits. My day usually starts at 9 am in the clinic followed by all of my home visits, by lunch I am back to my clinic as I enjoy the company of my staff for lunch, post-lunch if I have a patient then well and good or I work on my social media content development further, I have few long term patients that I am currently treating by 7:30 pm, I wind up my work and back home by 7:50 pm. Post that is my family time where I enjoy cooking and talking about my day with my mother and then we have dinner together.
What kept you going?
As it is rightly said, your mother will never stop believing in you though the world stops trusting you. She made me realize every problem/obstacle has 1000 Solutions, you just have to choose the correct path according to the situation. That’s when I realized that my ultimate goal was to heal people which can be done by any means.
Tell us about an accomplishment you are most proud of.
I started with tele rehabilitation, no doubt it had a lot of challenges but I pushed through it and eventually after so many struggle I managed to help a lot of people. This recognition gave me opportunities to train thousands of corporate people.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths
I am very passionate, I believe when enthusiasm casts its spell on you, you feel supercharged and one is capable of doing anything. I am a reliable and consistent person. I am ambitious and have a lot of patience.
Weakness
Distracted: being a multi-tasker that you’re unable to focus on what you’re doing at any given moment and your short-term attention span means it’s never long before you’re thinking about something else.
Sensitive: I take literally everything to heart, no matter what the situation, and tend to lead with my heart more than my head. At times I lack clarity of thought and if something goes wrong, I take it personally.
