Tell us a little bit about yourself and your journey as an Entrepreneur
Beeshma Advisory Pvt Ltd started in June 2015. Now we have three offices Bangalore, Pune and Singapore. Both Cofounders have 30 plus years of international experience working in major financial hubs across the Globe. Sathya Prakash is LLM in taxation from Bangalore University (Gold medallist) and Anil has done Masters from Germany.
How did you come up with the name for your business/startup?
Sathya Prakash is very big fan of Mahabharata and he came up with name Beeshma Advisory pvt ltd.
Why did you choose entrepreneurship over a job?
Every day you face new challenge here. You get exposure from all possible coroners.
What was the vision behind it?
The main vision was to give a global platform to Indian companies. We saw that thing is missing in India. Even someone to expand the business in Ghana or Canada our team is very well equipped from advisory, implementation and managing those companies in long run.
Describe the services that you offer to your customers and in what way they are unique?
We help Indian companies to become Global. It might be Africa, America, Europe or anywhere across the globe. Most of the team members worked minimum 5 years internationally. That gives an edge to understand the client’s challenges and it helps in suggesting the right country, suitable company type and shareholding & capitalization.
What difficulties which you have faced or you are facing?
Reaching out the mass in a short span but we believe this is the challenge across all industries.
How do you handle the pressure and manage stress?
All our assignments are time-bound and handling pressure is a prerequisite for anyone to enter in this kind of business. We keep the client expectations very clear at the beginning and follow very transparent model. Managing stress is Art. We should know the priority index.
How do you market your business?
We do attend conferences in India as well as internationally. Participate as a sponsor in many events across the globe.
How many hours a day do you work on average & can you describe/outline your typical day?
Most of us work around 9 to 10 hours a day. Conference calls, meetings and routine work.
In your opinion what are the keys to success?
Focus, hardwork and determination. Knowing your job well.
What advice would you give to someone starting out as an aspiring Entrepreneur?
It’s a very lonely journey. Demand a lot of hard work, dedication and scarify. Only passionate people can become good entrepreneurs.
